Gold and Silver Bullion from Switzerland

Switzerland is home to a number of reknowned gold and silver refineries and precious metals companies. Companies such as PAMP Suisse, Credit Suisse, Valcambi and many others were founded and are still based here.

Switzerland also has a rich history of using gold and silver in it's circulating currency.

In December 1865, Switzerland become of the founding members of the Latin Monetary Union, a treaty that unified several European countries on a common currency based on the French Franc bimetallism standard.

Swiss 20 Francs Gold Coins were produced by the Swiss National Mint in Bern Switzerland with a fineness of 900. The most common gold bullion coin is the Helvetia design.
