1 oz Platinum Eagle Coin

The American Platinum Eagle is the official platinum bullion coin of the United States Mint that is minted annually since 1997.

As with other precious metals variations of the American Eagle series, proof finish coins intended for coin collectors are sold directly to the public. However, the bullion coins are only available through bullion distributors and secondary market dealers.

Dealer inventories may include proof finish coins from the secondary market in their inventory for Platinum Eagles from random years and may show signs of handling or circulation.

The proof American Platinum Eagles are unique in the fact that they are the only U.S. bullion coins that have a yearly alternating design.
