I saw Westminster Mints television advertisement on Fox Business Channel. They offered an American Eagle Gold One Ounce Coin at a reasonable price, and a free American Eagle Silver One Ounce Coin. It took 23 days to arrive, after many telephone calls, and very few email communications. I never received an order confirmation email. The value was excellent, but the customer service was frustrating.
I placed an order for six 2021 Morgan silver dollars back on March 15, 2022. Today is April 25th and nothing has been delivered nor has any communication other than the original emailed receipt been received. I called and talk to a representitative about April 10th and again today. Both time they had no explanation other than waiting on the product (that showed InStock at time of order) and something about a new system thats been causing shipping delays. Her claim was that shipping has slowed to about two weeks yet its been over six weeks on my order with no ship date known. Both times the representative stated that someone would get back to me yet no one ever has. I told her this is my first time dealing with this company and it has all the looks of a scam operation.
Worst experience with a mint ever. I placed my order 5 weeks ago and was charged almost $2k right away, but I still do not have my product. Reaching the company has been almost impossible and no one is returning my call. I even requested my order to be cancelled and I still have not seen any refund or response from them.
They lied to me said I had to pay sales tax on my purchase.they had promotion on gold eagle.but tried bait and switch.when I didn't go for it that's when they lied about sales tax.dont trust them
Tried to order TV advertised coin for $1849. I live in California where there is no sales tax on coin sold for over $1500. The Westminster Mint sales person wanted $166 in tax even though he admitted he was familiar with the California law. I refused to place the order. These are awful people to deal with.
A previous customer of WM, I received a cold call from one of their sales people. In talking with her, she did not know the difference between First Strike, First Release, and Early Release (there is none!) She argued with me about it. I then asked her when the new US Mint Morgan and Peace dollars were going to be released and she had no idea what I was talking about. She told me her VP instructed her to call me. I have been collecting coins for 40+ years and have an extensive collection. Why would you have someone that doesn't know what FS, ER or FR is??? To someone with over 40 years of collecting experience. Stay away is my advice. I will be doing business elsewhere. Caveat emptor!
They lied to me about a coin price they told me they retailed at 179.00when I looked at their website they retailed it 129.00. I will never do business with him again thank his name was Jake
