The worst! Avoid at all costs! I purchased 250 grams gold during a dip last weekend. First thing Monday morning gold rebounds, then what happens? Provident Metals sends me an email cancelling my order and telling me that if I want the product I need to place NEW ORDER at the much, much higher gold price! Customer service spuns a bunch of b.s. on the phone, gave no credible reason for the cancellation, told me the Supervisor was out of the office "all week" and flatly refused to tell me who owns the company. This is a shady, drop-ship operation and they decided to cost me money rather than honor my well-placed order. I will never even consider trying to do business with them again.
They have not had the 'new customer' offer at spot for months. If you don't at least offer me an incentive (everyone else seems to be able to do it), then how will you grab me as a customer? Bullion Exchanges and others offer spot pricing. Crickets from Provident
Requires a credit card to place an order. For that reason, I will not deal with them.
Another Dallas dealer that will blow your mind sometimes is hero. I found a jeweler in Florida that sells to me at 50 cents over spot on war nickels and shot. I gave you hero but I’m sorry my brothers I just can’t give you my Florida. ;)
I received an "order" of 40% Eisenhower Circulated Dollars and all of them were circulated non-silver cladded dollars. I weighed them, did a visual, and ping test and they do not sound or look like silver. I requested store credit but if you order from them please verify that you have circulated silver and not circulated clad for 40% coins. Thanks.
