Colombia Gold 5 Pesos Random Year 1924-1930

Simon Bolivar was known as the Liberator. He was a soldier who led the revolution against Spanish colonial rule across the countries that are known today as Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

An effigy portrait of Bolivar is displayed on the obverse of the coin, which is surrounded by inscriptions that read "Republica de Colombia" and year of minting.

The reverse design includes the Coat of Arms for Colombian and includes inscriptions for the legal tender face value (Cinco Pesos), the gold weight of 7.988 grams and purity (0.9167).

Colombia has a rich history of minting gold coins, some of which are highly sought after by collectors and investors. These gold coins were part of the circulation coinage of Colombia and were minted between 1919 and 1930.
